Go away: The most useful iPhone apps for getting out of town

It’s no secret that smartphones make travel much less painful and way more fun–from reducing our chances of getting hopelessly lost to helping us find an ATM or even update Twitter in-flight. More and more travelers already pack them along on their work and business trips, and we have a pretty good idea of what devices they’re carrying, too. Gogo, which provides in-flight Wi-Fi for eight major North American airlines, revealed Tuesday that 65 percent of those using Gogo to log on to the web mid-flight do so with an iPhone and 15 percent with an iPod touch. By contrast, 12 percent of Gogo use is by Android device users, and 6 percent by BlackBerry owners. I’m one of those people who keeps my iPhone close at hand when I travel. And there aren’t many things I love more than planning and going on trips. So for you fellow iPhone-toting travelers, Read More

Microsoft Releases OneNote, a New App for the iPhone
Mini_discussion_bubble iPhone Download Blog - Posted Wed, 19 Jan 2011 16:35:04 UTC +00:00
Microsoft already has a few apps in Apple’s App Store, such as, Bing and Windows Live Messenger. However, no Microsoft Office programs have made their way to the iOS platform – that is, until now. (Don’t get your hopes up, there’s still no Word app for iPhone.) Microsoft has released its note-syncing app in the App Store, which will work with its Windows desktop counterpart. This move by Microsoft is an obvious attempt at further reaching out to the mobile worker and student. OneNote is packaged in the Mac bundle of the Microsoft Office suite, but Windows users will be happy to know they can now take their Office notes with them thanks to the beauty of cloud-sync technology… OneNote for iOS allows users to sync their notes and checklists with their Windows Live Skydrive account. SlashGear explains OneNote’s capabilities, “The application lets users take notes, make bulleted lists, and checklists. Read More

Microsoft Brings Travel Search and Improved Maps to Bing iPhone App
Mini_discussion_bubble ReadWriteWeb - Posted Mon, 27 Sep 2010 18:32:35 UTC +00:00
Given that Google is Apple's default search and mapping engine, Microsoft's Bing is fighting an uphill battle on Apple's iOS platforms. Microsoft has launched an avalanche of iPhone apps that are "powered by Bing," but the company's main offering on the iPhone remains the Bing app that offers access to search engine's core features. Starting soon, the Bing for iPhone app (iTunes link) will also offer access to Bing Travel for finding travel deals and a redesigned version of Bing Maps. Bing Travel focuses mainly on air travel. It was developed on top of Farecast, a Seattle-based startup that Microsoft acquired in 2008, The most interesting feature of Bing Travel is its ability to predict price changes. In addition to the standard fare search features, Bing Travel on the iPhone also includes a fare calendar that allows you to quickly find the cheapest time to travel and a flight status feature. New Apps for Your iPhone: July Edition
Mini_discussion_bubble ReadWriteWeb - Posted Fri, 09 Jul 2010 16:34:45 UTC +00:00
There are some 225,000 mobile applications for Apple's iPhone and iPad, and counting. How on earth do you find ones that are actually worth using? You could use a recommendation service like AppsFire (itself a nifty little iPhone app too), or you could ask a friend. But every now and then, we like to round up a few of our favorites and share them with you. This latest edition of our favorite iPhone apps includes some brand new ones for you to try along with us, as well as some which may not have just launched, but which you may not have heard of either. The brand new apps in this list sounded intriguing, but after some initial testing we're not sure if they'll ever make it to "home screen" status. Some have a few kinks to work out, and others, well, we're just not entirely sold yet. But in all Read More

By Allyson Kazmucha, Wednesday, Jul 7, 2010 | As you all know, we’ve been watching the App Store for iOS4 compatible updates. We’ve found a few we think are worthy of a postup, and as normal, if you guys find anything especially awesome, feel free to leave it in a comment or send it to me in an e-mail (ally (dot) kazmucha (at) tipb (dot) com) and if we think it’s awesome too, we’ll include it in our next roundup! Hit the jump to see what we found lurking in the App Store this time! Bing is relatively new to the search game, but it’s definitely holding it’s own. As far as search engines go, I’m a fan of how Bing is organized and how it now interacts with your social networks. Bing is now updated for iOS4 support (mainly multitasking). There was no talk of support for the retina display Read More
Clash of the Titans: The Battle To Become The Mobile Search Leader
Mini_discussion_bubble TechCrunch - Posted Sun, 27 Jun 2010 21:26:41 UTC +00:00
Editor’s note: The following guest post is by Krishna Subramanian, co-founder of mobile ad exchange Mobclix. Mobile search is still one of the big unclaimed prizes on the mobile web. Everyone from Google and Yahoo to Apple is going after it, but Microsoft’s Bing may stealthily become the king of the castle by aggressively promoting Bing through mobile apps. Let’s look at each player’s mobile search strategy. During the Apple keynote in April, Steve Jobs announced the new iPhone 4.0, iAd and a few other features even he didn’t seem too excited about. Out of the many mediocre features, Mr. Jobs happened to squeeze in a declaration that, “ On mobile, search hasn’t happened. People aren’t searching on their phones.” During the keynote at WWDC this month, Mr. Jobs declared that iPhone 4 users would have the opportunity to select their search engine from among Google, Yahoo, and Bing. Bing Updates Web Search and iPhone App

I live in constant jealousy of my friends with Android phones over my favorite Android app — Google Goggles. In particular, the ability to scan barcodes and images for visual recognition is pretty impressive! Now, one of my favorite iPhone apps — Bing — has gotten a big update, and now features my most-lusted-after Google Goggles feature: barcode and image recognition of products. Also in the latest version are improved search functions including search results from your Twitter and Facebook networks, and business list and map view integration with search results. And that's not all the Bing news for today — the web search at Bing.com just got new entertainment features, including the ability to search for Zune songs, artists, or lyrics, and listen to full song tracks for free. If you'd like to purchase a song, Bing offers one-click access to purchase from Zune.net, even if you aren't a Zune Read More
Bing for iPhone Updated with Social Networking and Image Recognition
Mini_discussion_bubble IntoMobile - Posted Tue, 22 Jun 2010 22:34:30 UTC +00:00
The Bing search application for iPhone just got a pretty hefty update, now allowing you to connect to Twitter and Facebook (so you can search updates as well as share results), and a new visual scanning feature using the camera, not unlike Google Goggles. The irony is, Google Goggles isn’t on iPhone yet, so Microsoft is getting a head start. Bing for iPhone was introduced in December with little reason to switch from Google, but with these two new features, it’s offering something pretty unique. Microsoft just launched Windows Live Messenger for iPhone this week – clearly they want to tap some of the new owners and remind them that hey, Windows is cool too, y’know. Even without the app, Bing will be baked into the iOS 4 as a search option. The scanning function applies to barcodes, books, video games, CDs, and DVDs, and launches into pertinent shopping, biographical, and Read More

Bing for iPhone Gets Barcode Scanner and Basic Twitter and Facebook Client
Mini_discussion_bubble ReadWriteWeb - Posted Tue, 22 Jun 2010 17:40:47 UTC +00:00
Not only did Bing arrive as a new search option in Apple's iOS4 update yesterday, but Microsoft also just launched a new version of its native Bing for iPhone app. The app now features a RedLaser-like barcode scanner and an enhanced social search mode that highlights results from your social network on Twitter and Facebook. In addition, the app now also features a basic Twitter and Facebook client. The Twitter/Facebook client is very basic and only allows you to respond to tweets, retweet and post new tweets. The app does not feature a URL shortener or any other advanced features. Chances are, you wouldn't want to use the Bing app as your standard Twitter and Facebook client, but the features are good enough to allow you to interact with your friends when their Tweets and Facebook status updates appear in your social search results. The most interesting feature addition to the Read More

Bing iPhone app update comes with a bang

The Bing app for the iPhone Since its introduction late last year, Bing has been a worthy rival of the Google Mobile App on the iPhone and iPod Touch by combining a map, a browser, search app, and a few other nifty features into one. According to Microsoft, there have been more than a million downloads of the Bing app for iPhone so far. The app just recently got even better with its 1.1 update, which was released on Friday. Apart from a number of stability fixes and usability tweaks, it also adds a few major features and improvements, including: Bookmarks and improved Web browsing: You can now bookmark maps, directions, Web sites, businesses, search terms, even the weather report, and get to the bookmarks right from the Bing home page. Bing app gets update, pulled from Non-US App Stores
Mini_discussion_bubble Touch My Apps - Posted Sun, 21 Mar 2010 22:55:03 UTC +00:00
Microsoft’s mobile search app Bing, first released for the iPhone back in Dec’09,  has received its first update. Listening to user feedback, Microsoft has made various improvements and implemented several new additions, including the ability to bookmark maps, directions, weather reports etc., parental controls, search history and private searches and more. Oddly enough, just as the update was made available, it had been reported that the app was subsequently pulled from Non-US App Stores. According to Microsoft, it was never their intention to have released it outside the US in the first place. “When we released the iPhone application we inadvertently made it available to all countries in which the Apple Marketplace has a presence. We noticed the error within 24 hours and took steps to remove availability for all countries except for the US”, a rep told Neowin.net. And in a statement to CNET, it appears that international versions of Bing Read More
Microsoft's Bing iPhone app gets a big update, lots of new features
Mini_discussion_bubble Download Squad - Posted Sun, 21 Mar 2010 19:30:00 UTC +00:00
When Microsoft first released the Bing iPhone app, the big story was how strange it was to see a Microsoft search app on Apple's mobile OS. Now that Bing's been around for a while, and Microsoft has reported been talking to Apple about adopting it as the iPhone's default search engine, the story about the new version of Bing for iPhone is a bit more simple: new features. The latest incarnation of Bing has bookmarks, location features and more. With the Bing app, you can bookmark sites and save searches for later reference. You can also set your location, to make searching for nearby info a snap. New secure search features allow you to password-protect your settings and perform private searches, which certainly wouldn't be for iPhone-friendly porn, or anything like that. In a similar vein, you can set and save your SafeSearch settings in the new app. With every update, Read More

Microsoft Updates Bing iPhone App and Removes It from All International iTunes Stores
Mini_discussion_bubble ReadWriteWeb - Posted Sat, 20 Mar 2010 00:31:34 UTC +00:00
Microsoft just launched a new version of its Bing iPhone app. The iPhone app gives you comprehensive access to Bing's core services, including Bing maps and directions, as well as news and image search. Besides offering better stability and a few interface tweaks, the new version of the Bing app also integrates more tightly with the iPhone by giving you access to your contacts in the mapping feature and making it easier to copy and paste URLs and share interesting results through email. Just as it launched this new version of the app, however, Microsoft also pulled the Bing applications from all the non-U.S. versions of the App Store. According to a statement Microsoft sent to Neowin, the company "inadvertently made it available to all countries in which the Apple Marketplace has a presence." Steve Ballmer compliments Apple, Hell freezes over
Mini_discussion_bubble TUAW - The Unofficial Apple Weblog - Posted Tue, 09 Mar 2010 16:00:00 UTC +00:00
The Seattle Times is reporting that Steve Ballmer, who notoriously laughed at the iPhone, had some good things to say about it last week in a speech he gave at the computer-science building at the University of Washington. "Apple's done a very nice job that allows people to monetize and commercialize their intellectual property," he said. Ordinarily, a comment like this might not be significant, but in this case it adds fuel to the fire that Apple will replace Google with Bing as the default search engine in the next iPhone OS. Google and Apple are increasingly at odds and it's possible that Apple may see an alliance with Microsoft as a way to stave off Google's mobile growth. For Microsoft, a deal that puts Bing on the iPhone would be a huge win as mobile search is becoming increasingly common. Smart phones are becoming more mainstream and the iPhone is Read More

Admit It, Microsoft: You Suck at the Web
Mini_discussion_bubble GigaOm - Posted Sat, 30 Jan 2010 17:00:32 UTC +00:00
Microsoft is many things, but one thing it’s not is a successful web company. And it’s time Redmond faced up to that. For 15 years, Microsoft has tried time and again to become a major player on the web. It started by integrating an AOL-like dial-up content service in Windows 95. It shifted to a Yahoo-like web portal model three years later. In the search era, it designed search engine after search engine, culminating in an awkward bid to buy Yahoo that felt more like a divorce than a proposed merger. Despite having the most popular browser, however, Microsoft has never really monetized the web in a significant way. And what does it have to show for all its effort? Years of losses. Since 2002, when Microsoft began breaking out MSN and online services as a separate category, the division has seen aggregate revenue of $20 billion but a total operating Read More
Rumor: Bing to be default search engine in iPhone OS 4.0?
Mini_discussion_bubble TUAW - The Unofficial Apple Weblog - Posted Wed, 20 Jan 2010 13:30:00 UTC +00:00
One of the most surprising things about the next iPhone OS could be the default search engine. is reporting that Apple is in talks with Microsoft to have Bing replace Google as the default search engine. It's becoming increasingly clear that Apple's main rival is not Microsoft, but Google. The Nexus One competes directly with the iPhone; Apple is allowing Google to use Lala, for now; and with Apple's purchase of Quattro Wireless and Google's acquisition of AdMob it seems each company is gearing to directly compete with the other in the mobile ad market. "Apple and Google know the other is their primary enemy. Microsoft is now a pawn in that battle," says one of BusinessWeek's sources who is familiar with the matter. But this isn't just about Apple and Google. As the BusinessWeek article points out, clinching the coveted default spot on the iPhone would also help Bing gain Read More

Microsoft’s Suchmaschine Read More

Bing is the new search engine from Microsoft that offers some unique features that are actually intriguing. Now, they’ve brought their new toy to the iPhone in hopes of challenging the Google app. As people are experiencing Bing on their devices, they are generally feeling a similar opinion that I definitely agree with. Most people are surprised that Microsoft has actually come out with a great product. They are also noticing that Bing may have a slight edge over Google’s app just because of the beautiful user interface. Apple fans may cringe at the thought of using a Microsoft product on their iPhones, but it may be a bit difficult to stay away from this one. The first thing you’ll notice about the app is the beautiful daily image that sets its background. These images are always high quality, and are mostly things you’d never search for or see on your Read More

Microsoft Releases Bing App for iPhone
Mini_discussion_bubble iPhone Alley - Posted Wed, 16 Dec 2009 20:07:49 UTC +00:00
Microsoft on Tuesday released its first official Bing app [free, App Store] for Apple’s iPhone and iPod touch handsets. Until now, Bing has only been offered as an integrated search function in third-party apps. The new app is the first to offer a dedicated interface. Bing for the iPhone includes map, movie and image search functions, as well as voice commands, which like Google Mobile launch a search based on a spoken sentence or address. Some navigation support is built into the app, giving users a choice between driving and walking directions. Search results can be narrowed by category, such as news or specific services like banks or restaurants. A homepage displays a new image each day from Bing.com, with hotspots that contain related trivia. The Bing app is available for free and requires iPhone OS 3.0 or later to install and run. Bing Comes to the iPhone
Mini_discussion_bubble Mashable - Posted Wed, 16 Dec 2009 18:10:03 UTC +00:00
by Since launching six months ago, Microsoft’s Bing search engine has made strides to try to differentiate itself from the competition — namely Google. Mobile is vitally important to the next phase of search, and Bing has aggressively targeted smartphone users with its enhanced mobile search page. Google has had an iPhone app for quite some time and now Bing has followed suit. The new free Bing app is available for download from the App Store right now. From the main Bing menu, you can choose to bring up News, Movies, Images, Maps, Businesses or Directions. Movies hooks into your current location, allowing you to see what is playing near you and where. You can get directions to the theater or call it directly, which is a nice touch. I would love to see it integrated with Fandango or MovieTickets.com for easy purchase access. The new Bing app also features Bing Read More
Microsoft’s Bing Arrives on the iPhone

By Arron Hirst on December 16th, 2009 Microsoft's search engine Bing, finally arrives on the iPhone and iPod touch Search is a big business nowadays, and up until today there’s been one prominent search engine giant which has dominated the App Store in it’s entirety. I am of course talking about Google. They first covered the need for immediate search by introducing Google Mobile onto the store, which also included the ability to search by voice. Later, we then had them introduce a mobile version of their widely popular Google Earth software. With Apple having partnered with Google in the past to bring Google Maps out of the box on the iPhone, by all accounts it seemed Google had (and still has) things pretty much sown up! .. But let’s not forget, Google aren’t the only ones who want a piece of the iPhone’s ‘search’ market share. After all, Microsoft had Read More

Search is really getting interesting these days. Microsoft late last night released Bing [iTunes link] for the iPhone -- a full featured free app offering search, movies, maps, and directions, all with voice control. It's notable that Microsoft is going after iPhone mind-share after Steve Ballmer famously dissed the iPhone more than 2 years ago. He's had to sit back and watch the iPhone eclipse Windows Mobile phones in the marketplace, which can't be pleasant, but business is business, and Microsoft is pushing the Bing search suite of tools hard. After spending some time with it last night and this morning, I can say that it works pretty well. I think on-screen it is more attractive than the Google Mobile app offering [iTunes link] and the voice control is about as accurate. On the Bing home screen there are direct links to images, movies, maps, businesses, news and directions. It inverts Read More

Microsoft’s Bing app for the iPhone and iPod touch has landed in the App Store overnight.Available now as a free download, the Bing app attempts to leapfrog the Google iPhone app by bundling searching for Images, Businesses, Movies, News, Maps and Directions all under one icon, complete with voice searching that works pretty great in our initial use. Microsoft sums it up best: “Make decisions and get where you need to go with Bing. See the Bing daily image and related trivia on the home screen.
Read More

All’estrema destra troviamo un piccolo microfono che ci Read More
Microsoft Releases Bing iPhone App
Mini_discussion_bubble iPhoneFreak - Posted Wed, 16 Dec 2009 05:15:24 UTC +00:00
Microsoft has just release an iPhone app for their Bing (free at the App Store) search engine. While the move may seem odd, it makes complete sense for Microsoft to want a mobile app presence for Bing. After all, Google’s iPhone app has been out for some time, and it offers a useful voice search feature—while also offering handy shortcuts to some Google web services. Microsoft’s Bing app was clearly inspired by Google’s. Voice search is a big part of the app, and unlike Google’s app, it can also be used for Maps (unfortunately, Bing doesn’t support public transportation routing). They’ve also implemented my favorite feature from Google’s app — the ability to perform a voice search automatically when you hold the phone up to your ear. Just like Google’s app, there’s a chime that signals when to start the voice command. It’s also just as accurate from my testing. The Read More
Microsoft Bing’s it’s Way Onto the iPhone With New Search App
Mini_discussion_bubble The iPhone Blog - Posted Wed, 16 Dec 2009 04:38:42 UTC +00:00
By Rene Ritchie, Tuesday, Dec 15, 2009 | Microsoft has just made Bing [Free - iTunes app] their second iPhone and iPod touch app (no, Office wasn’t first — that’s still MIA — the amazing image-zooming Seadragon was), and it’s fairly impressive. It takes a lot of the services Google powers throughout the iPhone and the Google Mobile app and collects them all in one place — internet text string search, image, movies, a business directory, news, and maps and directions. You can also do Voice Search though without the accelerometer and proximity sensor tricks that make’s Google’s version so Star Trek. The Bing app is great looking as well, with large photo backgrounds a la Bing website (and yes, you can tap the rounded square overlays to get factoids). Text string searches are pretty much on par with Google, sometimes returning more sensible results in more logical orders, sometimes not. Read More

Microsoft is really onto something with Bing! I am not an MS fan boy, and don't run Windows (strictly Mac!) but their search service has won my heart on the desktop and again on my iPhone! This rocks, and the Bing maps are amazing!
Wow!

This is replacing my Google app! Small differences that make this app usable, like the main screen selection of map and image, etc search. In google app u must select the search icon in corner then select maps to search maps then leave the app to actually use the map! I know it seams weird to have Microsoft on my iPhone but not as wired these days to gave google on my iPhone. Google should take notes on this one and stop putting out gave finished, half thoughout crap that they seem to be pumping out these days on the masses, don't get me wrong I think google is great just over kill.

I'm not by any means a MSFT fanboy (heck Im using an IPhone). But after downloading this app I have to give them credit. This is an amazing one. In my limited use of the voice search it has worked perfect. Even better search results give you locations near you that you can, with the touch of one button, get driving directions to or place a call to. Plus the image of the day is a great idea. I found it interesting and caused me to want learn more. A great great app overall. It even caused me to start using bing on my pc.

Tried the app on my 2G,crashed when using voice, and the search give the error : "We di not find any results for .... ",I can`t search with it at all. The only thing the does work is the map app - faster then the stock google one. BTW - I`m sure it`d a great app, though I can`t ive a higher rank because the app does not work..
Love the app, hate the voice recognition
Fsunole 2.0 stars Version: 1.0
I think this is a great move by Microsoft. But as usual, they've screwed up the nuts and bolts that run this thing in a rush to hit the market. I love the interface, the features, the layout. I prefer the microsoft map to the google map. But the voice recognition is just horrible. I tried saying "AT&T", which was recognized as "Eugene D." by the app. My next more deliberate and slower attempt resulted in "A. T. and D.". I tried the same with the Google app and it returned "at&t". I guess it wasn't me after all. (These are the exact result strings that I got from either app.) The Google app leapfrogs the Bing app by miles and miles in terms of usability because of it's much more accurate voice recognition. It's not just the voice processing.. the Bing app frequently fails to detect me holding the phone up to my face to speak. Minor bugs/kinks like this can really frustrate someone trying to use this app regularly. One other thing I noticed is that common local search phrases like "Pizza Hut" or "Costco Wholesale market" was recognized perfectly in this app. Maybe it is optimized for local search instead of longer web search phrases? Granted this is only the first release.. things should improve. Until it really does, I will stick with Google.
Maps
Houndslakemike 2.0 stars Version: 1.0
Map of Williamsburg is useless. It is so old Hwy 199 is incomplete. Housing developments five years old do not exist. It's all on google maps but not here. Way short of expectations.
I never thought I'd say this about a Micro$oft app...
Juan Guapo 5.0 stars Version: 1.0
....but it's actually a really good app for the iPhone. I personally don't like Micro$oft as a company so even a free app was a stretch for me to try on my beloved iPhone 3G. Anyway, on with the review.... I have the Google App, Yahoo App, and now the Bing App so I can give a pretty good description of its strengths and/or weaknesses in comparison to the other two. I do actually use the Yahoo app, but not for search. The first webpage I see every day on my desktop with coffee in hand is Yahoo News. I've used that app a lot and it's a great "content" app, but an ok search app. Let's face it, Google is still the search-zilla, but for iPhone users who don't do a lot of searching on their phone, it's all about content and utility. Enter the Google app... The Google app is really utilitarian....there's nothing fancy, and it's basically a bare-bones shortcut-o-matic for Google's online web offerings. I've only used it for search when that is the first thing I need to do. The voice recognition of the Google App is great, but that's it. There's nothing else. Therefore, for search, Google app is pretty much it. Yahoo = Content, Google = Search. Enter Bing... Bing.com is Micro$oft's "Google". It's not bad and it's not great. It does what it's designed to do, and I think I used it once to see if it actually worked. Like I said, I'm no fan of Micro$oft, their products or services. However, free is free, and there's nothing to lose except a few minutes of time here. I installed the Bing app and the first thing I noticed is how lightweight it is--it's very lightweight compared to the Google app. Just to be sure, I rebooted my 3G iPhone (running 3.1.2) and loaded Bing. Ba-da-bing, it came up pretty quickly. I go on.... I try the voice recognition feature--oh my god it works, and it's a Micro$oft product. i was so surprised that I decided to put it thorugh a few random searches.... "Coffee Shop" or "Animal Shelter"...sure enough, it found it, and gave me the option to dial or show a map. No glits or extra buttons....it finds it, and give you the choice right up front. The maps are remarkably clear and uncluttered. I especially like the one-touch zoom out (as opposed to Maps, which requires two fingers). This thing is designed for one-handed operation (presumably while driving) Micro$oft, you did a great job on this app. I figure it's only a matter of time before you bloat this app with ads and other stuff, so I'll be back to update my rating but for now I'm giving you a well-deserved 5/5 (and on a 1.0 product no less!). In fact, I've even made a place for it right on the first screen of my iPhone. From a Mac-only user, this app is truly worthy of any iPhone.
A great iPhone app experience

The Bing app works very well on the iPhone. Apart from providing great results, it doesn't force you to leave the app for Safari or Maps - the entire search experience and presentation of results is handled by the app itself. I like how the maps progressively render, SeaDragon style. One nit is that Bing maps don't yet provide good coverage of some parts of the world, like China. However this is like to be a Bing maps service issue and not the fault of the app.
Nice usability

Pretty cool from the first few minutes of playing with it. The voice search is especially helpful for hands free use.
I just wanted to be first...

Finally, an app that lets me use my favorite search engine (oops - *decision* engine) on my iPhone without hampering the experience. The maps look awesome (i'm quite fond of the directions and the view frustrum that shows which way my car is pointing -- and does that WAY better than Google Maps does on my 3GS). The voice technology is a cool feature (arguably not that great in a crowded room or noisy car) but still a great convenience for when I need to be hands free... In the right surroundings it gets what I'm saying. Thanks, Microsoft! I can't wait to see where you take it from here.
This is the best mobile bing app
