ClearCam takes the guesswork out of taking sharp photos on your iPhone.

ClearCam rapidly captures three (3) photos and automatically determines which is the sharpest. The best photo is then saved to the Camera Roll.

Motion blur can happen even if you're holding the iPhone perfectly still. This happens often with sports or baby photos. Fortunately, ClearCam detects motion in the photo itself, and it correctly chooses the sharpest photo even when the subject is moving around.

►► Advanced Tips:

ClearCam is very easy to use (it only has one button!), but you can get more out of it with these tips.

► Take multiple photos without waiting. As soon as the Lens icon lights up again, you can snap another photo, even before the last one finishes saving.

► If you've captured several photos in a row and they are still saving, then turn your audio switch ON and lock your iPhone. ClearCam will keep saving in your pocket, and vibrate when it's done.

► Just like the Camera App, you can lock your phone and keep ClearCam running. When you unlock, ClearCam will pop back up almost instantly.

ClearCam produced in collaboration with Two Teeth Technologies.

ClearCam goes legit, will increase image resolution at a price

ClearCam has been around for a while, and I first took a look at it more than a year ago. It was a clever app that had two modes. One mode took a series of four pictures in rapid succession, and then it saved the best and sharpest one in your photo library; the other mode took six images together and stacked them in order to increase resolution and reduce noise. In practice, it meant that the old 3G 2MP camera became the rough equivalent of a 4MP camera. The app had been pulled from the App Store for a while -- the SDK did not allow access to raw iPhone images (only compressed images), which meant it was impossible to run any enhancement algorithms on the data. The SDK now allows for access to those uncompressed images, iPhone cameras are better, and ClearCam has returned as a regular iPhone app. Read More

Took several photos of my squirmy 7 month old daughter and all of them turned out great! I'm used to getting mostly blurry photos with other camera apps. Nice work guys!
