The latest update actually REMOVED the censorship in previous versions of this app. Simply go to "Account" and click on "Adult Content Settings" and you can adjust the settings to all personals categories and more (e.g., showing photos and explicit language). Be sure to save your settings after the adjustment. I have tried almost all the apps for Craiglist and this is the best among all. And it is free!

AVOID UPDATING THIS APP! All adult content is removed! Totally useless and bland. What happened to freedom of choice?!?! Is this China or the USA? Let me decide what I should see and what my children should see...goose-stepping dummies.

How dare you report the update as bug fixes when the update removes categories from the program! What are we 6 years old? If you can't be truthful as to report what your update actually does, you can be sure I will never download or purchase another program from you again. Simply outrageous.

What would have otherwise been a good app gets a low rating because of the filtered content. This isn't high school. UPDATE: I'm downgrading the rating yet again because with the new update, the personals section was completely removed. You mean I can spend hundreds of dollars on this device as an adult and you're going to tell me what content I can view on it? Pathetic. Also, the update made no mention of removing entire categories. Very sneaky and juvenile. One star. (If you want to get the personals back and haven't synced since you updated the app, just delete the CL app from your touch/phone, and then use iTunes to replace it.)

But I am an adult who doesn't need to be protected from the world. I bought the big boy toy I think I can handle what I view on it.

This WAS a great app until I opened it today & found that they blocked the personals section. How could you block rants & raves? Anyway, I deleted it until they bring back the sections they blocked. If there can be a beer pong app, why block sections of craigslist? EDIT: good job bringing back the categories, now just unblock the profane words & mature images options & we're good to go. Seriously, it's not like Apple is actually telling you to block these, now are they?

The app store can choose not to carry an app, but to censor the functionality of an app on my iPhone...? Wow! A new low for Apple. I'm embarrassed for them.

Tried to uninstall, keeps reinstalling itself, both on phone and even on itunes on computer. Can't upgrade, or remove, keeps giving errors. As far as I'm concerned it's a virus and I can't get rid of it, even tried restore, hard reset, everything.

I don't understand the low ratings... Finally I can check craigslist on the go and even post, which you can't even do on eBay, plus it's free! I love it.

I'm glad someone finally made an app for Creigslist. I'm always selling or buying something off of there. The page just loads so slow on my itouch

This app censors the listings. Get craigs mobile list or use safari instead.

I read the review & checked out the photos of the app. Work really simple. It's really easy. But where's the "personals" ? It showed it in the photos. I like to find a date every so often.

Has crippled one of the finest apps available. Apparently we're not allowed what they deem inappropriate. I give 5 stars to the development team for a great app. Apple gets -5 for censorship.

A number of popular categories have now been blocked because they are "inappropriate for the application store." You're now given a link to see those through the browser, but navigation and ease of use are shattered. This is censorship, plain and simple, as well as forced factional morality. Shame on Apple, and the devs for bending over. Deleting this app now, as it offers nothing over the built-in browser as of today.

The built in content filter is for 2 year olds. Very lame. Cmon guys this is the Internet! Don't censor it! If mobile Safari can show unfiltered info this should too. Also. No personals kills this app.

Would have gave a 5 star but now most of it is blocked! Takes a village to raise a kid? No! It takes parents who should control what their damn kids are doing! I raised my kids on my own & managed just fine to control what my kids did on the hm computer as well as keeping a close eye on their cell ph use. So now we have to put limits on the browser as well because people are not responsible enough to watch their own kids? Don't be the village idiot!! Give the village a freakin break and take care your own kid! What a waste of a good thing. I think I see a Blackberry... Yes! Screw this, if I as an adult Im not allowed to make my own choice. I work too damn hard to be blocked!!!

This was a great app until the blocked content for personals and what not. This was my most use app and now will be deleted as this is a bunch of bull. Kids shouldn't own an iPhone anyways so why does the content have to be blocked. What a waste and can't believe apple did this!

It was a great idea and I love it. You can search sub categories under options. It makes it easier to read then the browser is. Plus I can post on the go!

Ok, so I've had craigsmobilelist for a long time, I love it's interface, but the ability to post was never added. This app allows me to post finally, BUT the interface is not up to par. There's no categories, just search. I give it it three stars, now only if the two companies can think together and merge their creations it would be perfect!

You all know the story! Was five star app now it is five star crap!!!

While I respect Apple's right to police apps and limit offensive material at the beginning; however, the censoring of applications is too autocratic. They have blocked the access via the application to the personals section of CL. In addition to the paternalistic nature it is completely ironic because you can download a host of other apps that can show you porn on the Internet or even allow users to upload X pictures of themselves. What's next? Safari restrictions? UPDATE. I disagree with Jimmi's review. It's not my obligation to "raise a child" by having my phone blocked from content I as an adult want to read. The parents of the child have to raise their children and if they give then an Internet charged phone without supervision then they are asking for a problem. Jimmi's thinking is at the root of censorship.

I don't care about personals so for the classifies it works great. It loads more than 25 posts which is superior to the other free CL app and you can post listing right on the iPhone. But I have to complain about something to the developers. Can you have subcategories under each major categories? Like when I clock For Sale, I just want furniture not toys or cars. Or when I go to community I just want to see pets subcategory. Can you add in subcategories please? Otherwise good free app. Thank you!

Was fine until they started blocking parts of CraigsList. What's the point of this app... Just use the website.

I just want to add here that this application allows ALL adult craigslist items but it is just turned off by default. Hit the account button and select the 'adult content settings' button and turn on or off thosethings you want to see. It's just sad that so many vulgar reviews claim no personals when they are there and with pics if desired. Surely you can see why a free app would have these turned off by default right? Kids right? Sad reviews. Also touching the blue arrow to the right of the main categories takes you to the sub categories page for sale>>free for example BUT you have to touch exacty on the arrow or thewhole line turns blue and takes you to all posts. I'm confident a quick update would fix this. So don't buy into the 1 star reviews IT HAS PERSONALS AND ADULT CONENT BUT YOU HAVE TO WNABLW IT IN THE SETTINGS BE SURE TO EXIT THE APP AND LAUNCH IT AGAIN TO SEE THE NEW CATEGORIES AND ADULT CONENT TO BE AVAILABLE. thanks for a great app. Ed
