The timer shows the progress of time using clean graphics that allow you to see at a glance where you are within your sitting period without being unduly distracted.
You can set an optional preparation period to allow you to adjust your seating and get settled before a gong rings once to indicate the start of the sitting. At the end of the sitting, the gong rings three times.
Please give it a try. I hope you find it to be an effortless and encouraging part of your practice.
Features:
• Simple and inviting visual design.
• Elegant visual illustration of elapsed time.
• Graceful handling of interruptions (e.g. SMS, Phone).
• Configurable sitting time.
• Configurable preparation time.
• Pleasant gong tone.
• iPod music can play in background

People should be developing more useful apps like this one. Simple, neat and it does the job. Would be nice if the app makes the phone vibrate when the timer runs out.
