Jul 26th 2010 at 8:00AM Can't get back to the notes I wrote for each expenditure. Any help? Hey, thanks for the app review. I'm wondering what software/apps did you use for the screen capture? The delete mechanic and the ability to easily switch between currencies is cool, but other than that, there isn't anything here that would coax me away from MoneyBook. To me it seems that mint.com and its free apps for the iPhone/Android are more suitable for doing this sort of work. I looked into getting this for my wife when she got her new iPhone, but we ended up spending the additional $3 to get her iXpenseit. I swear by that app, and use it several times a day. PLEASE remember the iPhone tag Mr. Schramm. I thought this was a Mac app for a moment until I realised. Expenditure vs. MoneyBook. Which wins ? Looks like

Happy I waited for a lite version

I can't grasp why this app has done so good besides the fact that you swipe down to delete a transaction.
The app is very limited in my eyes and the UI isn't all that great either. No way to search or make reports. I don't like having to swipe just to see the notes I've added to the transaction. Usually only put the brief description like "Chickfila". This could be fixed with subcategories I guess "Food:Chickfila".
Yeah its different, but not the different I'm looking for. There are other top money apps in the AppStore. But if you only need to track simple stuff then go ahead. Give this lite version a try.
Tried the Lite, now considering the full version.

I have been considering getting Expenditure for the past week. Been comparing it to a few other apps. I wanted something simple, with a nice graphical UI. I'm really happy that they released a Lite version today. You can only input 8 transactions, but i think it's enough to help anyone make a decision if they like the app or not. I'll mess around with this app a little bit and see if i like it enough to purchase the full version. Looking good so far.
