We recently wrote an article called “14 Useful iPhone Applications for Women” which described some iPhone apps that a writer and iPhone user thought would be useful for women. I love my fishing calander and use it every day to help keep my Bass-i-tis under contol. but I have 1 request for this application to make it the best fishing calander Ever! ""Change the main icon to reflect current date and a strength bar to reflect the fishing forcast"".... This way I don't have to launch the program if it is a low chance if catching fish.. Please make this happen and thanks for fixing the prior glitch of not being able to launch with the 3.0. You guys are awesome !!

I've been looking for a little app like this for a while - glad to finally find it..... does what I want - calculates the 'best fishing times" based on location - and the ability to use your local location based on GPS or a known location is quite nice. The feature of capturing pics of your catch along with details of that is a nice feature - although it would be nice to somehow send/download this info - hopefully that will come in a future revision.

I like the calendar part and the best fishing times, but the journal part is not the best, way to much stuff to enter while out fishing. There are some other apps with a lot better workflow and better reporting. I use After The Catch for the journal and reporting and use Fishing Calendar to check the best time to fish. I'm glad these apps are so cheap and I can take the best parts of each.

This is a really nice App. Would love to see an update that will allow us to hold a few photos in full resolution for each catch and the ability to zoom in and out on the photos, same as the native iPhone photo album. Two cents.

This app is great. But I would like to see the tides if they are going from a negative to positive. It would be nice to example high tide at 3:00pm at 5.2' and low tide at 8:00pm at -0.5'. Please ad this in the next update thanks. Happy fishing.

When you search for a city, such as "Rochester" it returns many results back that do not specify location. Many results come back as "Rochester, us" so you are unsure which state the city is in. Also, I compared this fishing report to "DataSport Fish & Game Forcast". I used my current gps location to be sure. The app reported a SIGNIFICANTLY different report for best fishing hours on the same date.
