The guys at GetGlue have updated their mobile check-in app for just about everything with a handful of usability improvements. Now check-ins will display specials if they’re available (pretty sure True Blood is the only one right now), tidied-up pages for check-in subjects, a dedicated tab to see all of the stickers you’ve earned, and the ability to do searches for stuff when rating. Both Android and iPhone apps also play nice in landscape mode. Finally, the iPhone version is now clever enough to tell what you’re listening to on iTunes and immediately pull up the band or album in GetGlue for quick and easy check-ins. I’m kind of surprised that GetGlue hasn’t plugged in with Foursquare yet. None of the check-ins include any kind of location data, and my impression is that isn’t a direction GetGlue wants to go in. GetGlue connects me with all the things I love, and introduces new movies, books, and music based on my interests. I can check-in to things that I'm doing and see what my friends are up to. Having the app to quickly update on the go is great!

GetGlue is a low-threshold, simple, and addictive way to share and discuss everything you consume. Think of it as a social network meets wiki meets game. It's a social network of things, aggregating the bevy of information from across the internet in a way that makes it less daunting.
Check in to the TV show you're watching, and watch as your social network provides feedback and discussions open. A surprisingly effective way to discover new things, and a wonderful way to learn more about your favorite stuff; a point system incentivizes users to contribute and stake a claim on whatever it is you happen to be a guru of.
That's enough for description. Just get it and give it a try. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I've been a GetGlue user for years now and this app is a perfect companion for me on the go! Now I can share my thoughts about various movies, books, video games and random topics away from my computer with people who really are interested in the same thing. And of course I can keep track of my GetGlue account on my phone as well.
This is also the best non-location based checkin app I've ever used. When I want to share what I'm watching, listening to, or even just a topic I'm thinking about I can do so right from the GetGlue app. These checkins can be shared with others on GetGlue, Twitter and Facebook.
Overall this app is very well put together. It doesn't constantly crash, the interface is simple to use and snappy. Oh and there are many many new stickers to gain from checkins! And we all love stickers!
If you are already a GetGlue user you have to have this app. If your not a GetGlue user, then you need to try out this app and the website for the matter anyways.
