The always exciting World Cup kicks off today and I’m using a mobile application from Goal.com to keep track of it all. I’m using the Google Android version, but the free software also runs on iPhone, Nokia Symbian S60 5th edition, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile devices. Although I’d love to spend time watching matches online — NewTeeVee has a list of ways to watch World Cup online streams and videos — I just don’t have the time. So a mobile app such as Goal.com gives me a quick World Cup fix when I need an update. On my Nexus One, this software runs silky smooth and makes good use of the high-resolution touchscreen. The tournament kicks off with hosts South Africa against Mexico at 9:30am ET/6:30am PT on ESPN in the U.S. (International readers: you’ll have to consult your local listings.) I love the app....... Until today(6-5-10) with the new update for the wc, it has a bug, since i updated, it crashes every time i Open it, and i re-installed and didn't work!!!!!!!!

Upgrade issue fix

Several users have encountered a problem when upgrading from the old version where the application will crash on launch. We (developer Handmark) have resolved the issue and a new build will be live within a few days. In the meantime, you can correct the issue yourself by doing the following: Uninstall the application from your iPhone and install it again from the App Store.

I love the idea of the app, but if I'm a fan of the champions league, la liga, seria a, or any other league not based in England or USA then I can't access tr content. The only way to view it is in another language and that doesn't help at all since I don't speak those languages. Is it possible that this can be fixed????? Access to all content with English??????
