In unregelmäßigen Abständen halte ich an dieser Stelle meine ersten beiden Homescreen-Seiten vom iPhone fest. Zuletzt erfolgte dies im August 2010, Januar 2010 sowie September 2009. Für mich von Spannung ist dabei welche Apps sich immer noch auf meinem Geräte befinden, welche komplett verschwanden oder sich eventuell (nur) verschoben haben. Dabei greife ich die (für mich) wesentlichen Änderungen heraus. Ansonsten überraschend wenig Veränderungen: BeejiveIM flog dank Push-Benachrichtigungen in einen Ordner auf der zweiten Seite. I've been eagerly anticipating this app ever since it was mentioned on the podcast. I'm happy to say it delivers on all fronts! Stories are easy to read and find. The layout and color scheme are elegant. You can even comment on stories from within the app! Most other videogame site apps do not allow this function. Toss in easy sharing through email, twitter and facebook, as well as the Joystiq whimsy, and we have ourselves a winner!

I used to get worried when I would be away from my computer that I would not be able to check up on Joystiq.com, but now, like the engadget app, I can access all of the same articles and videos that the website has. More importantly, I can now enjoy those features anywhere!

The app works great. Just like the engadget app as far as layout, but an improved version for sure. I finally can ditch the mobile site browsing joystiq of old.
