GEISTESBLITZ, (noun, m.) ['gæstes blîts]:
literally translated as mind flash, is a sudden insight or idea, often brilliant and unexpected. Consisting of the German words Geist (as in Zeitgeist) and Blitz (as in Blitzen, that lightning-fast reindeer of Santa Claus), it is probably best translated into English as brain wave or flash of genius.

Ever had a great idea that was gone again before you had the chance to jot it down? Well, with the new Geistesblitz iPhone app this won't happen again. You can post ideas into your default mind map on MindMeister directly from your iPhone and iPod touch device, anytime and from anywhere. Create a free account directly from within app, then just fire off your ideas as they come. All ideas are automatically inserted into an intuitive mind map on www.MindMeister.com where you can then expand on them using our award-winning collaborative brainstorming suite.
P.S. If you like this you should also check out the full MindMeister app in the App Store, which also contains the Geistesblitz features, plus full mind map editing on the iPhone. ...More
