Faithfully Independent and Bible-Based
This app attempts to be a useful tool for everyone trying to talk to someone about God and share Jesus simply from a Biblical perspective- despite the author being a Protestant and coming at it from that point-of-view. For example, in a section discussing which Church or denomination you should choose, it does not espouse any one in particular. Instead, it makes some gentle but critical observations of all current major institutions and reminds people salvation is based on an individual's faith and belief in Jesus- not a Church affiliation.
P.S. IF YOU ARE NOT A CHRISTIAN, but have questions, this App is for you too.
P.P.S. 6/20/09 - DO YOU WANT TO HELP SPREAD THE GOSPEL FOR THIS PROJECT? It's Simple - Please come back and give us a good rating! And tell a friend.

Many iPhone users have become accustomed to using their devices to settle arguments. It's one thing to argue over facts and dates, but can iPhone apps help settle arguments about the existence of God? A recent NY Times article showed that some folks on both sides of the question are making an effort. On the side of religious skeptics are applications like Bible Thumper, the Atheist Pocket Debater, and mAtheist. For those who are certain they can convert others to faith, if only they find the right argument, there are apps such as Doubt Busters, God Tools, or Jesus Evangelism Tool by Mobile Jesus. (As an aside, I think developers of these sorts of apps may want to avoid the word "tool" in the title, or they're just asking for people to twist the meaning.) Read on for more... The idea of apologetics has been around for ages, but I have

Apple has banned sexy apps. But apps from Playboy and Sports Illustrated remain. Why does Apple care what turns me on? If you need another example of why the iTunes App Store's walled garden is flawed, Apple has been only too happy to oblige, capriciously and arbitrarily removing an unknown number of "sexy" apps without warning. All that's missing to complete the metaphor is a flaming sword. Jenna Wortham, writing for The Times, quotes Apple's Phil Schiller: "It came to the point where we were getting customer complaints from women who found the content getting too degrading and objectionable, as well as parents who were upset with what their kids were able to see." By Apple's own count, there are over 130,000 apps in the App Store. With a selection that varied, I'm sure there's something to offend everyone. Think about that last one for second and the furor that would

Please brothers do not be ignorant. Study for the answers yourself and do not rely on others for they will lead you astray. This app is not Mormon. If they actually read this app under FAQ it compares denominations and Mormonism is one of them. All things that glorify Jesus glorify the Father!
Terrible

Profound Witness to Jesus

Version: 1.3
Jesus says"...I will come on thee as a thief..." Rev. 3:13. Time is of the essence. At once without further delay or procrastination use this app now. People of all faiths should find this app informative. It is both entertaining and provocative. It is not typical of what is being preached from behind pulpits or being taught in Sunday schools. One could consider using this app as if one's soul depended on it.
Sub-par, but a nice effort for a neophyte app programmer.

Version: 1.2
Beware of rigid fundamentalists who have the answers dialed so black and white (see FAQs 'evolution' & 'versions of scripture') as this reveals a spiritual immaturity that is bound to handicap them for future ministry. Good luck friend.
Unique perspective on Christianity

This is MORMON doctrine!!! Mormon's do NOT believe Jesus IS God but rather A god as they believe they also can become through good works along with many other false doctrines.
Deleting immediately.......
Read the Bible !!!

Jesus is God and can save you if you have faith.
This is not Mormon doctrine
Totally biased
Version: 1.1
All quotes are taken from the NIV bible- there is no Mormon doctrine. The app even points out perceived conflicts with the Bible and the book of Mormon. Some other reviewers have some kind of theological issues where they see Mormonism where there is none. What the app does do is go into an exposition about the divinity of Jesus. Apparently this is controversial because the App centers on Jesus' identity as "God's Son", rather than "God the Son", and makes a direct point about it. Besides, this is only part of the back FAQ section, not the "main read". Read for yourself. Don't be a sheep.
Definitly worth checking out
Totally biased
Version: 1.0
Don't let other reviews keep you from downloading this application. Read it for yourself and make up your own mind. Personally I think salvation is on a case by case basis, not based on what church you go to. The application is not denomination specific, which may bother some people, but in my case I think it is a good thing. It will reach out to more people. :-)
Inaccurate comparison

Version: 1.0
This app refers to the Mormon cult as a denomination and that Mormons could be saved because of there belief in Christ. As a Christian and one who knows a lot about the Mormon faith how can the creator place a the morman cult (a religion that believes Jesus is Lucifer's brother) and essentially place it on equal footing as Protestant and catholic teachings? Would be very weary of someone's theology who believes someone can be "saved" within the Mormon faith. To make matters worse there is no archaeological evidence that supports the book of Mormon like there is for the Bible. Definitely do not recommend this app if you are a Christian. Gives an innacurate picture of evangelism.
