Patently Apple has uncovered some of the latest developments, which include additions to the iTravel app that surfaced back in April, as well as social shopping and fashion applications. We’ve covered some of Apple’s other iOS-related patents in the past, including iTickets and iGroups, as well as some system-wide integrations with Facebook, but the newest patents revolve around two areas that really make sense for a mobile device. The initial iTravel patent detailed an application that could connect to various airlines or transportation services, and book or retrieve reservations for flights, hotels, car rentals, etc., all from the device. As a customer or Ralph Lauren for my entire life, I am very suprised that they did not include menswear in this app or possibly in a new app altogether...Other than that, it's what you can expect from Ralph Lauren, which is nothing but the best.

I really love browsing around on this app and I like the update. I'd like to see more and more similar apps from designers and things-to-do with fashion (the Gucci app is nice to look at as well) -- like if vogue.tv put out an app that linked to their podcasts, that would be very neat.
One thing though-- I wish that I could save the slideshow pictures and set some as my wallpaper.

Like everyone says, this app is only for women, this really needs to display the clothes that they sell for men!! However this is a really good app, you can even call the store closest to you!!

I discovered that you can actually rotate the Ricky bag a few different ways. You can tilt your phone, or you can slide across the bag, or you can tap at the sides of the bag. It's pretty fun, actually.

I've never seen the accelerometer used for a luxury company, in the Ricky Bag section -- simply amazing. And "Behind The Scenes" section? When I scroll through slowly it seems to launch different audio clips. Pretty sweet! Content rich, I get a complete perspective on both recent shows. Exploring the video library now, videos I've never seen about Ralph Lauren...

I loved the ability to page through the looks, but when I wanted to buy one it was too clumsy to locate a store that had it. Why not use GPS on the phone?! First, it didn't locate my phone so I had to pick stores by State. Then it just provided a phone number so I had to call. After an eon on hold, I found out they don't have the blouse I wanted. I called a different store, same thing - hold, hold, hold, sorry. I finally just gave up. They need the service like the LUcky Magazine app has - enter size, and send me an e-mail saying where it is close to me or how I can order it. They probably could have sold me a blouse if they had but I've lost interest. Keep working on it! You're almost there!

Ok so I just got this app and it's kinda awesome but has anyone bothered to notice that the Fall 2008 Runway Show Video isn't actually the Fall '08 show? I was really disappointed about that because I LOVED all the great hats that were in it as well as the collection of course... Anyways, the video thats shown is from the Fall/Winter 06-07 show. Would be pretty awesome if they put up the Spring 08 collection as well, that was a pretty good show too...

I miss watching the videos of the full-length runway shows that were available prior to the update. Why did you get rid of it? I really love the new video library, animated graphics (wow) and the auto scroll feature in the Fall 2009 backstage highlights, all of which place this app well above its competition. Great improvements to an app that was already brilliant to begin with. Overall, stunning interface, graphics and music. Very beautiful. Much better than the Chanel application. Please add menswear. Thanks so much.
