5 iPhone Apps to Help You Learn to Dance
Mini_discussion_bubble Mashable - Posted Sat, 31 Jul 2010 20:03:01 UTC +00:00
It’s National Dance Day, so listen up: You’ve got to get movin’. Some people are born with rhythm and simply know how to move. Others aren’t so lucky. While our mothers may have toted us to childhood ballet classes, some were only in it for the tutu. But if you’re yearning to learn some of that fancy footwork again, have no fear, because, well — there’s an app for that. With a little help from the iPhone and these five downloads, your feet will be moving in no time. And who knows? You may even be on on your way to preparing for a role in Swan Lake. If you’ve achieved Dancing Queen (or King) status with iPhone assistance, let us know which apps helped get your groove back in the comments below. Personally, I’ve wanted to learn to tap dance since first seeing “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile” Read More

I just tried the salsa, and found it easy to follow and fun to learn! The lessons are set up in a way that is clear and simple. Thanks for making this available, can't wait to see more! I love that I can practice with Paul Barris, and my husband loves getting to dance with the beautiful Yesenia Adame! When will we be getting more lessons?
Needs more

This should have been free since it's just a teaser but this is a great tool for learning. The ability to dance with your iPhone as your partner makes it an easy way to learn. It just needs to go to a full version. With a product this good, over deliver. Let us feel like we got something if we're paying for it and maybe charge $5 for a whole level of moves for one dance... Like Bronze Salsa, Silver Salsa, etc. I'd pay for that! This was a tipoff as a teaser.
Don't Waste your Time

They don't tell you that all you get for your dollar is a teaser lesson. If you want more you have to log into their site and BUY additional lessons. I'm not judging whether the online is worth the cost or not ... it just would have been more honest had they explained what this was before I bought it.
Read fine print.

One basic step, I paid for advertising on there videos!
Rip off
JazminCasino 1.0 stars Version: 1.0
As others have already mentioned, this app is merely a teaser for paid services on a website. You learn one dance move and that's it. Ridiculous. You can get the same info (and more) from YouTube for free.
This is a Joke!!!!

I dont like it.Salsa what that looks like guacamole.
Bad instruction
crypticmatrix 1.0 stars Version: 1.0
I been to the classes, and thought this would be a good quick reminder. These video are most for the female dancer. The only male instruction was the basic steps. On top of that the instructor was swaying his body so unnaturally giving people the wrong impression of what is needed to be done. I would not get this app if I knew this in advance.
