This is the best app ever I txt my girlfriend everynight!!!!

I really want to like this. I really do. The interface is slick, WHEN it actually loads. As you switch between tabs, the interface just simply disappears! No communities load. No contacts load, even the help and support tab just stop loading!!! Sometimes it helps to exit the program and re-open it, but more often than not, it just simply stops loading. You find yourself staring at blank screens wondering if it is just slow, or stuck. Minutes roll by, and still stuck. But if you DO get the interface, many times the reply button provides no text box to type in. If you use a Bluetooth keyboard, there is no send button to send the messages you type. It's a smartly designed, horribly executed idea. I'm a programmer myself, and I get the strong feeling this is going to have to be written from the ground up, this time building in the necessary exception handling. I hope they prove me wrong, but I don't see how they can overcome everything that makes this product aggravating at the least, completely unusable at worst. I wasted my money. Don't waste yours til they do it right.

I have my whole family on it and they love it. Only thing I wish now is that I could see who is on and who is not

It's great how it works and every thing but we could use a few more caracters. Buy over all it's really good

I hate paying extra for text messages that are sent to my friends in Canada. I still have my normal unl. Text but now I don't pay extra

This app is the best but the olny problem is it's a littl slow revive texts but it works great please mak faster and make it so u can send and resive pics

It won't let people text u back

I love text plus but I think they should add smiley faces, emotions, and stuff to send to other people!!! That would make it so much cooler

I have yet to find such a reliable texting app. Your speed and quality baffle me at every turn. Your updates actually "update" the app and make it better. If anything this app has the best purchase I have made on the Touch. Please keep up the good work and you will always have my loyal service.

personally i get sick of the stupid ads all over sellng the same stuff, so if you're like me, you'll like the app. Plus $2.99 ain't much to pay for an app that allows u to text as much as u want.

I can't use this app anymore. It was great when I used the free version. I got the paid version at about the same time the iPad version was released. Now it's so buggy and slow I think snail mail might be faster. I want this fixed now. They can do it. The feature set here is amazing. They have no business charging for an app that does little more than waste a spot on my hime page. I will imediately update this review when the performance improves.

Good, but u can't text in landscape mode. Untill u fix that, it's 3 stars.

In the iPad version of this app you've placed the "Send" button right above the backspace key. From a usability standpoint this is a major problem because the user can accidentally hit the "Send" button instead of backspace which results in messages with errors in them being sent. Use your own app and see what I mean - it's too easy to hit send instead of backspace in the iPad version. Fix this and gain five stars from me. Thanks!

at first i didnt know what to do !! but i caught on and u need internet to be able to text but other then that i love this app its works great for me !!

I previously reviewed this application and gave it a lower rating due to some issues. Now though there has been a lot of fixes and i thought it deserved a bit of a revision. 1.The long and awaited landscape mode is now in the ad-free version and it works perfect. 2.The problem with the badges still showing you have a new message when you viewed it using the push notification has also been fixed. 3.The application is also a lot more reliable at sending and receiving messages and messages seem to go through a lot faster now. Overall I am glad to see GOGII listened to what users had to say and made changes to the app accordingly. I will continue to use this app as now it seems perfect for what I need to be able to do.

Im on a 2nd Gen iPod Touch running OS 3.1 & it's about 30-40% faster than the free one. There's also more space on the screen without the ads. Overall, a great app. 4 things you should know 1st: I can't turn off the badges no matter what I do. 2nd: be forewarned: the description says this only lasts 1 year. 3rd: no landscape keyboard. 4th: push notifications don't work properly. I'll get a txt from someone & not get a push OR I won't get a txt at all!! Irritating...

I like this app but to get five stars it needs the sideways option to txt!!! I can type sideways in a matter of seconds but it takes me twice as long to type upright!!! I would LOVE this app if it had sideways typing!! Please change!!!!

It's much faster than the free version because it doesn't need to load the ads. They forgot one thing though. When you turn your iPod/iPhone, the screen doesn't change to a landscape key board. So no more sideways texting.

great great great app better than text free

I'm a power textplus user so not having ads was worth it. Otherwise, it's the same (great) app.
